Quick Start
Welcome to Heartful Sprout. This page is the short linear path from sign-up to your first invited patient — about fifteen minutes end-to-end.
1. Create your provider account
- Enter your NPI and legal name. The name must match what's registered with your NPI — we verify against the NPI registry on submit.
- Add designation, credentials, and a profile image.

2. Onboard your first patient
2.1 Add the patient
From the Patients tab → Add new patient.

Fill out the patient's first name, last name, and contact email.

Pick the patient app(s):
- Heartful Sprout — nutrition counseling and meal planning
- Heartful Baby — daily tracking, growth, milestones, vaccines
- Eating Disorder — coming soon

2.2 Pick the invitation mode

2.3 Send the invitation
- Auto-invite email — preview before sending.
- Send your own — use the email templates.
2.4 Find the connection code
For with-connection invites, the platform generates a unique connection code that the patient enters in their app to link to your practice. Once entered, they're shown the HIPAA consent screen — after consent, their logs flow back to your patient record.
To view it:
Patient record → Settings → Registration Info

Share it with the family:
- Auto-invite email — the code is included automatically.
- Your own email — use the email templates; they have a placeholder for the code.

3. Recipe uploading (optional)
Want to bring your own recipes into the library? Reach out to your point of contact at Heartful Sprout.
You already have access to the full community recipe library out of the box.
