What patients see when they connect
The flow on the patient side when they enter your invite code.
The steps
- Enter the code: in Heartful Baby, More → Clinician → Enter Invite Code; in Heartful Sprout, My Page → Healthcare Provider → Enter Invite Code. The onboarding email links them straight there.
- Review provider info: your name, designation, organization.
- Select which child profile to connect (if they have multiple).
- HIPAA consent: an authorization checkbox with a summary of what will be shared. See HIPAA consent.
- Connection established: premium unlocks; you appear under their connected providers.
After connection
- Once you sign a session, your patient notes appear in Heartful Sprout under Health → Doctor's Notes, with meal plans and nutrition goals alongside.
- Their logs start flowing back to you on the next sync.
- Premium features unlock automatically.
Soft-disconnect. Patients can revoke from their app at any time. Existing data stays on your end.
Subscription paths
How patients get premium access to the patient apps. Both Heartful Sprout and Heartful Baby use the same unlock paths.

A dual-app invite (Heartful Sprout + Heartful Baby) doesn't cost the family more; premium is granted per app, automatically.
What premium unlocks
Gating varies by app and changes as the apps ship updates. The canonical list is the in-app paywall.

Heartful Sprout
Gating is tab-level, not per-feature. Two of the six tabs require premium; the rest are free.
