Patient context on events
When a Calendly event's invitee email matches a patient, clicking the event shows patient context in the Event Details sidebar. Google events display as calendar entries only; they aren't matched to patients.
What you'll see
- Primary Diagnosis
- Last Session summary with its date
- Past-session count (shown when there's no diagnosis or summary yet)
- View Patient button to the patient record
Unmatched invitees show "(Not in system)" next to the name, and upcoming unmatched events also surface on the Dashboard's Unmatched Appointments card.
Matching rule
Exact email match, case-insensitive, no fuzzy matching. A patient can carry multiple linked emails: add extras from the patient's Visits tab (Add Linked Email) so events booked under a spouse's or work address still match.
Unmatched events get Link to Existing Patient and Add as New Patient actions instead — see Quick-add patient.
