Layout customization

Organization-wide defaults for what every new patient's record shows — which tabs appear and which Overview cards are visible. The most powerful lever for tuning the platform to your practice.

Where to set this

Profile → Settings → Layout Customization. Admins and Members can edit; Viewers are read-only.

Visible Tabs

Default tabs shown on every new patient's detail page. The Settings tab is always available.

Default cards shown on the Overview tab.

  → Per-patient override (Patient → Settings)

Why this matters

The right defaults cut clutter and put the right info first for your typical patient. A pediatric RD focused on solids may hide Vaccines + Milestones; an NP doing well-child visits may want all tabs visible.
