Anatomy of a session

The session is the atomic unit of work in the Clinician Platform: a six-step wizard from audio to a signed, billable record. Start one from the patient header's Start Session button; past and in-progress sessions live under the patient's Visits tab.

The six steps

#StepRequired?Output
1Session CaptureRequiredTranscript or text description

3Goal SettingOptionalPatient-level goals

Good to know

  • Steps autosave as you work; leave and resume anytime from the Visits tab.
  • The Summary step stays locked until the Notes step has a clinical note ("Complete the Notes step to access Review").
  • Your Caseload & Focus answers can hide steps that don't fit your practice (for example, Nutrition Guidance for a lactation-focused team member). Capture, Notes, and Summary always show.
  • Signed sessions lock. Later changes go through addendums or an unlock with a reason: Editing a past session.
