Step 2 — Session Notes
The AI drafts structured notes from your transcript. Three editable cards, and the step can't complete without a clinical note in at least one format.
The three cards
| Card | Audience | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Intervention Notes | Internal | What happened and what you recommended. The Intervention Summary line shows next to the session in the Visits list |
| ADIME / SOAP Notes | Internal | The structured clinical note |
| Notes for Patients | Family | Plain-language recap the family sees in their app and in the session email |
Generate All Notes runs all three in sequence (progress shows 1/3, 2/3, 3/3); each card also has its own AI button for regenerating just that note. Everything is editable after generation, and the step autosaves.
Note formats
| Format | Stands for | Typical users |
|---|---|---|
| ADIME | Assessment, Diagnosis, Intervention, Monitoring, Evaluation | RDs (nutrition standard) |
| SOAP | Subjective, Objective, Assessment, Plan | MDs, NPs, PAs |
Set your default under Settings → App Preferences (App preferences); switch formats per session here.
What the AI uses
The transcript plus session basics: patient age, session date and type, duration, and your provider name. It does not read medical history, prior sessions, or tracking data. AI-generated content is flagged with a banner in the editor; review before signing.
