Coordinating with a pediatrician

The platform supports multiple clinicians per patient. Use this for RD + pediatrician care teams.

Setup

1. The patient is on the platform via your invite.
2. The referring pediatrician — if also on the Clinician Platform — can be added as a second provider on the same patient record.
3. Both clinicians see the same patient-logged data; each can run their own sessions.

Recommendations

• Use SOAP notes when you know the pediatrician will read them — it's their familiar format.
• Include diagnosis pointers on every CPT line — clean documentation for the referral loop.
• Generate the Session Summary PDF and send it directly to the referring pediatrician.

When the pediatrician isn't on the platform

• Same Session Summary PDF — email it externally.
• Superbill or CMS-1500 carries enough clinical context to close the referral loop.
• A handful of pediatricians may benefit from the Clinician Platform too — share a referral link.
